The Twelve Days of Leadership Christmas

What a crazy year!  Even the PNC Twelve Days of Christmas Index didn’t escape the pandemic.

This year, the cost of buying the gifts in the song, “The Twelve Days of Christmas” is down 38% to $105, 562[1].

However, there is an important COVID-related caveat.  Due to the near shutdown of the live entertainment industry, this year’s index did not include the nine ladies dancing, ten lords a leaping, eleven pipers piping, or twelve drummers drumming as they were not available.

Holiday time can be expensive, but it doesn’t have to be for good leaders. The following list contains gifts that will last a lifetime. Best of all, most of them are free!! Check out our “shopping” guide below!

[1] Based on the PNC cumulative index.  This counts the total number of gifts based each repetition throughout the song (e.g., 12 partridges in total). For those interested, they also have an index that provides the cost of the items the first time they are mentioned (e.g., three French hens, etc.).
