Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Our privacy philosophy is simple:

  • We treat your information the way we’d want our information to be treated.
  • We believe that the ONLY way that we should make money is if we do something useful for YOU

Your privacy is critically important to us. At Avail Advisors we have a few fundamental principles:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

Below is our privacy policy which incorporates these goals: (Note, Avail Advisors borrowed this policy under a Creative Commons Sharealike license.  The original policy was created and shared by Automattic Inc. (https://automattic.com/privacy/).  Automattic states

“you are more than welcome to steal it and repurpose it for your own use, just make sure to replace the company references to your company, and if you want we would appreciate a link to Automattic.com somewhere on your site.”

They generously believe that since they have spent a lot of money and time on the below other people shouldn’t need to do the same.)

If you have questions about deleting or correcting your personal data please contact our support team.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Avail Advisors collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

Avail Advisors’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Avail Advisors’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Avail Advisors may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Avail Advisors also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on WordPress.com blogs. Avail Advisors only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.  There is one exception to this. Blog commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

The amount and type of personally identifiable information that Avail Advisors gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to conduct the transaction. For example, we ask visitors who register for a free webinar to provide their email address and name.  That information will only be used to communicate with you about the webinar.  Please note, that although Avail Advisors may only ask for the specific and limited information that it needs, third party sites that we use may collect other identifying or partially identifying information (e.g., i.p. address, location, browser, etc.) which is subject to their privacy policies.

Visitors who sign up for a paid webinar will be asked for additional information such as their credit card number and address.  In each case, Avail Advisors collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Avail Advisors. Our 3rd party partners use secure transaction processing processes to ensure that safety and security of your information.  Avail Advisors does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
