Becoming Decision-driven introduces a shift from focusing on data to focusing on decisions.
Focusing on data is certainly important. Organizations cannot be decision-driven without first being data-driven.
However, data-driven organizations often focus in the wrong place. They spend most of their time talking about the data. That leaves little time to think about what to do about it.
A decision-driven organization starts with decisions. That is the filter through which all data collection, analysis, reporting, and communication is viewed.
