Many of our clients want to build deeper skills in Rethinking Data.  Our advanced workshops provide “deep dives” into each of the three major areas of the workshop:  communication, analysis, and reporting.  Each workshop is four hours in length.  Advanced workshops are almost entirely practice-based often having participants use their own problems, data, and reports.

All advanced workshops require that the participant first attend one of the Rethinking Data basic workshops.

Advanced decision-based reporting

Provides a deep dive into decision-based reports and how to create them.  The workshop discusses design considerations for decision-based reports, how to set up your data, and tips and tricks for using Microsoft Excel to automate the creation of decision-based reports.

Advanced communication

Provides case study exercises to give participants the opportunity to practice synthesizing, structuring, and communicating data.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own analyses and recommendations to turn into a simple, concise, and structured, presentation.

Advanced analysis and execution

Teaches participants how to plan and structure their data analysis to improve their speed, quality, efficiency and effectiveness in making data-driven decisions.  The course focuses on approaching data in a focused, deliberate manner in order to ensure that the proper data is collected and analyzed.
